Who we are
We are a team of engineers, researchers and security practitioners. The platform is built in Europe and runs under the same conditions your sites do, from cloud deployments to sites that never connect to anything at all.
We engineer PHLX.AI closely with our clients and with the people who actually operate the system. What a control room learns in a live incident flows straight into development, and corrections ship in days rather than in next year’s release.
Why we started
Our name comes from the Greek φύλαξ, the guardian who stays awake so the city can sleep. That is still the job. Sabotage, drone incursions and hybrid campaigns now arrive in the same week as storms, floods and wildfires.
The teams who carry that load are not short of sensors. They are short of the time to make informed decisions. We started Phylax to give them back the minutes that decide the outcome, without ever taking the decision out of their hands.
What we build
PHLX.AI is one intelligence layer over the systems security and crisis teams already run. It watches every feed, assesses each alarm against their sites and procedures, prepares the response options, and writes the record as events unfold.
Nothing is replaced. The cameras, drones, weather feeds and open sources stay where they are, so a control room gains an assessment without losing the tools it already trusts. See how it works.
Our values
Judgment stays human. We build to sharpen a decision, never to take it. Every assessment shows what it saw and why it escalated, so an operator can overrule it and defend that call. A system that cannot be questioned has no place in a control room.
Your data stays on your systems. You decide where the platform runs, up to fully air-gapped, and what it sees at your sites stays with you. You stay in control over your data.
We hold ourselves to the highest regulatory standards. The GDPR and the EU AI Act are usually described as a burden. We treat them as the floor for software that watches infrastructure and shapes emergency decisions.
Protection without surveillance
PHLX.AI does not do facial recognition, and we are not developing it. PHLX.AI does not identify individuals, build personal profiles, or follow named people across sites and over time. Those capabilities are absent from the architecture, not switched off in a setting.
The platform assesses events, not identities. On a live sabotage attempt:

That description is everything the response needs. Who the person is changes nothing about where the response goes or how urgent it is. Protecting critical infrastructure should not cost the people near it their privacy.
